Well today being fast Sunday for me, I'm going to finally talk to my parents about it! I have been putting it off for so long I know it's time to finally get the proper help from them! So wish me luck! I know this is the right thing to do! But at the same time I'm terrified! I just hope that everything goes smoothly, and that the spirit will be able to give me strength and courage!

Learning Experience
"When I was young my dad was a Bishop, I remember during interviews he would say " I am your Bishop now, and not your dad, what you tell me here, will stay here", I thought , ya right!, so I never confessed to him. I wish I would have, but in our family we never " talked" about anything. Now that I am a father, and was a Bishop years ago, I learned to be very open to my children about everything. And I mean everything, so as parents our kids told us the first time they kissed someone, My sons know that I had a masterbation problem in my teens, they know about my drug addiction.

Learn from this experience so when you are a Husband and Father your children will come to you with questions.

That being said, I`m pretty sure that your parents have been there and will understand, because your Heavenly Parents know about it, and love you. God gives us weaknesses so we can make those weaknesses strengths, just need to learn humility."

"Now, my brothers and sisters, let not Jesus’ redemption for us stop at the immortalizing dimension of the Atonement, “the loosing of the bands of death”. Let us grasp the proffered gift of eternal life! We will end up either choosing Christ’s manner of living or His manner of suffering! It is either “suffer even as I”, or overcome “even as [He] … overcame”. His beckoning command is to become “even as I am”. The spiritually settled accept that invitation, and “through the atonement of Christ,” they become and overcome! "
